Returns & Refunds

We offer a 14 day return / exchange period from the date that you receive your package.
This includes 14 day return for any purchase made in our boutique too.
To accept your return, it must have the original swing tags on the item and a receipt.
Unfortunately if you do not meet the above requirements we reserve the right to decline any returns. 
We offer a return if the item is:
- Incorrect 
- Faulty
- The wrong size
- You received the incorrect order

To send an item back:
The customer must cover the cost to send the items back to us.
In your parcel with your item please leave a note with your name and order number AND state either one of the following:  
- An exchange for a different size 
- An exchange for a different item
- Credit note 

Once we receive your item, you'll be contacted by one of our team members including if the item cannot be accepted for a return 
.
We do not offer a refund due to a change of mind.
We offer a refund if the product is faulty AND after the product has been assessed and recognised as faulty by the manufacturer. If the manufacturer assesses your item and it comes back not faulty - you will be issued a store credit.
Please also note - if you purchase an item that is on sale or apart of a sale promotion, we accept returns for a change of size. If we are out of stock of the same item, you will be issued a gift card.
Please read carefully before placing your order as by shopping with us at Main Street Collective, as you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions in accordance with the ACCC Guidelines 
We have purpose built our store to allow our customers the opportunity to see and try our garments on in person before purchasing. With purchases made in our store, we do not offer refunds on goods due to change of mind. We would be more than happy for you to return your item for an exchange or credit note. Please note that this must be returned to us within 14 days from the date of purchase in order for us to process either your exchange or credit note.  
If we do not have the item that you wish to exchange your purchase for, you will be issued a credit note which is valid for 12 calendar months.

What if the item is on sale?
No refunds on sale items so please choose carefully when the item is marked down.
We accept exchanges on sale items if the item you wish to exchange it for is still in stock.

We will always accept your return if your item still has tags attached, is unworn, unwashed, has not been altered and the item is still in the original packaging.

When we send you your packaged item it will include your receipt and a return slip which is to be filled out and packaged in with your return for us to keep.
For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns on any pierced jewellery, swimwear or lingerie.
Main Street Collective reserves the right to reject any returns sent back to us if the requirements are not met and the item cannot be resold. 
This is not negotiable and the item will be sent back to the customer and this decision is final.
